Nigeria is a country in Western Africa. Its capital city is Abuja. About 195.9 million people live there, in an area of 923 768 square kilometres.
Nigeria moved its capital from Lagos to Abuja in 1991, a city built in the middle of the country for the purpose. Lagos stayed the largest city.
